Special Needs Goldens
This page features Goldens in our rescue who need special medical
or training attention. You will see photos and stories of our "Special
Needs Dogs."
Often, goldens are surrendered due to health and/or behavior problems. Keystone
Golden Retriever Rescue, Inc. is dedicated to rehabilitating these dogs.
Due to the cost of extensive medical needs and training, KGRR has started "The
Rusty Fund" for our special goldens. Please consider a donation to "The
Rusty Fund." We desperately want to concentrate our time and efforts in
saving these wonderful dogs.
Rusty
is our inspiration and namesake of
"The Rusty Fund." Rusty came to KGRR neglected,
abused, and in deperate need of training and behavior modification.
We entered him into a 45-day training program, and he has graduated with honors.
Rusty has been placed in his loving forever home.

Soon
after Moose came into rescue, he was diagnosed with cancer. He
has grade 2 mast cell cancer. His future is uncertain and he will
remain in forever foster care. Keystone Golden Retriever Rescue
will be responsible for all his medical expenses. If you can find
it in your heart to make a donation toward his care, it would
be greatly appreciated.
